FPS mode is the default mode of Sandbox. It is currently a basic mode which doesn't have a lot of special features like the other modes, such as spells, advanced interaction, platforming levels, etc. It's the mode to make Shooters. It's also a TPS (Third Person Shooter) though too. E is used for edit mode instead of RPG's F1. FPS mode is based heavily upon Sauerbraten's source code.

FPS (First Person Shooter) Mode

FPS mode is the default mode of Sandbox. It is currently a basic mode which doesn't have a lot of special features like the other modes, such as spells, advanced interaction, platforming levels, etc. It's the mode to make Shooters. FPS mode can be played like a TPS (Third Person Shooter). E is used for edit mode instead of RPG's F1. FPS mode is based heavily upon Sauerbraten's source code.

  • F2: Brings up the texture menu.
  • F3: Brings up the materials menu.
  • F4: Brings up the sky menu.
  • Space: Jump
  • W, A, S, D: to move around. Also arrow buttons.
  • Esc: Brings up the main menu.
  • 9: first/third person toggle
  • 0: change playermodel

FPS mode may, in future versions, come with a "water wars" mode.
